A Skeptic's Story — 'Snowman Poop!'

From Heart-Links: Here's an excerpt from the transcript of a consultation with a skeptic who became a believer — in her own words:

Again I felt doubtful, even though it felt right on. My mind kicked in with: “But anybody would in this situation...I wish she'd be more specific…”

L: “OK, that's what he's talking about; he's saying, "I'm there; I hear every word."
D: “I want to connect with him...”
L: “That's why he's doing this here today; he's giving you examples of when he's there and he's wanting to help you trust the feeling.”
D: “Oh, I hope this is for real; this would...but why did he leave?”

I was still questioning this, because I was still thinking I could/should have done more.

L: “Now, he's showing me some more memories. There's something about, something round and white, like a softball, or marshmallows. Does that ring a bell? Any memory? I never know if it's a message or a memory.”
D: “Well, there are cotton balls around here, but I don't know why he'd be showing them.

Wow! I wanted more specific confirmation, here it is, but I didn't get it at the time!

L: “There wasn't any memory about roasting marshmallows, or…”
D: “Well, yes, but anybody has that…”
L: “Not necessarily. See, that's your mind coming in, trying to get rational about this.
D: “Well, we did roast marshmallows out there at the fire pit, but...

I wasn't buying this, too generic, even though it was appropriate, as we did use the fire pit at the cabin frequently and always roasted marshmallows. What came up for me later, after the reading, was something very specific about marshmallows: The month before Denny’s passing, we went to a craft show and bought a little joke-gift, a small baggy filled with marshmallows that had a little note card attached, saying: "You've been bad, so here's the scoop--all you get, is snowman poop!"

It is amazing that I was so in my rational mind, that I couldn’t identify that in the reading!
