Releasing "earthbound" souls has never been my forte. However, when clients ask me how to deal with unwanted energies, those existing on lower frequencies (outside my bandwidth)— my reply is always the same: "It all depends upon how you're occupying your own space!"
Light emanates as an elevated, brighter and lighter energy; darkness emits a lower vibration of greater density. A soul that’s caught in a contracted, earthbound state, stuck in the lower vibrations, will experience a somewhat disoriented, perseverating (back-and-forth) state of consciousness, not unlike what Bill Murray’s character experienced in the movie, Groundhog Day. No ending...no beginning, caught in a loop. But not necessarily aware of that loop.
Through the years, I’ve observed four conditions that can deter a soul from its journey to the Light, causing it remain earthbound. Most often, where there exists —
- An inordinate or immobilizing fear of death.
- An extreme attachment to the physical dimension — and all things physical, ie, possessions, money, manifestations of false (as opposed to authentic) power, etc. If a soul carries the belief that this is all there is, and therefore must cling and hoard, tighten its grasp on the physical, then that soul’s energy contracts; it will most likely have difficulty finding a passageway to beyond these illusions. (Think of Jacob Marley, wearing the “chains he forged in life.”)
- Where there exists in one’s consciousness not an inkling, not one teeny-tiny belief...that there’s more! No sense of a bigger picture unfolding, much less a notion that the soul is eternal.
- Circumstances whereby the soul has experienced a very sudden or violent passing.
If it’s clear there’s the presence of a soul’s energy hanging around in the lower ranges, one caught between dimensions, not knowing that it has disengaged from the physical body, I offer up a very pragmatic and down-to-earth (no pun intended) solution.
You can light candles if you want, create a little ritual if it helps you feel more powerful or the process more dynamic. But the effectiveness in sending earthbound souls to the Light has a lot more to do with your own energy.
When we feel fear, or embrace the notion that something (or someone) is greater than we are, or more powerful than our intimate connection to the Source — in that very moment, with that very thought, we separate ourselves from that omniscient, omnipresent, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving radiance. When you are separate, your personal energy contracts. Nothing flows. You feel small and vulnerable...scared.
On the other hand, when you declare in an affirmative manner (I encourage tossing out your arms, Kung-Fu fashion and throwing out your chest!)—
"Only that which comes in the Light — and within God's sight! — is allowed!" GO TO THE LIGHT! — NOW!”
...then you've suddenly expanded. You’re occupying your space — FULLY! No vacancy. No room for unwanted energies! You've let in the Light. You're back into alignment.
In this process of moving yourself from a state contraction and fear — to one of expansion and power — you will have “upped the amps” of your own frequency. In this expanded space, you and your surroundings are no longer accessible or susceptible to anything vibrating in a lower stream of consciousness.
An apprentice in Australia tried what I suggested, after having enlisted a number of psychics who attempted a few ("booga-booga") procedures, all in their attempt to release a certain energy that was waking the entire family in the night.
Her two children would wake up and scream for her. Both described seeing an image of a man, looking more translucent than a physical being. The mother reported that she would sense the energy as a heavy, rather “smoky” presence, while at the same time, her husband would become suddenly restless while sleeping.
Following my suggestion, she assembled her family the next morning and instructed them to form a circle, all standing together, each holding his/her space in a powerful, affirmative way, all unified in thought and purpose.
Firmly — and with love and compassion — they issued forth their mandate, transmitting telepathically their message with the feeling of an energetic — “Whoosh!” (Sometimes the release of the soul is actually felt this way, almost like a light breeze; others report actually seeing a wispy image rising up.) Released to the Light. The following week, in my apprentice’s phone meeting, she reported that the disturbances had ceased. She felt certain that the presence was gone.
A client related in her phone session, that she’d been experiencing some bizarre disturbances at the B&B where she has recently been employed as manager. The electronics in the office has been going haywire, a safe (with no accessible key) was found open — these kind of prank-full occurrences have been driving her crazy and distracting her from her work.
I sensed the presence of a family with several children. They appeared all linked together, arm-in-arm, as if all lined up in a row, from the tallest on down to the shortest. The image reminded me of the Von Trapp family depicted in The Sound of Music.
I also felt that the family was caught between dimensions, all hanging out at the house where they’d had their happiest years, and felt the most connected while on the earth plane. Somehow, these happy years created a strong attachment that pulled the family back and was impeding them from turning fully toward Light.
That’s not to say that one (or more) souls who’ve experienced loving, happy times during their earthly adventure will remain earthbound! I rather suspect that their lack of orientation had more to do with the circumstances surrounding their passing. It didn’t seem important or relevant for me to look in that direction.
It seemed as though a projection of this family’s energy had been pulling my client into some sort of welcoming “initiation,” as if breaking her in to the new job, or perhaps showing off — reminding her of the true owners! Regardless, these souls needed to go to the Light!
My client said that she’d read about the history of the place and learned that a family with six children owned the home in the 1800s. I walked her through the affirmation and encouraged her to get as big as she could with her body — arms spread, chest out, head up — and together we telepathized to those energies in a very focused and deliberate manner — “TIME TO GO TO THE LIGHT WHERE YOU’LL BE GREETED BY LOVED ONES and/or a religious figure...if your beliefs have embraced such a figure.”
Prayers help tremendously in all instances. I remember reading information from a channeled source years ago, that JFK barely lost consciousness before transitioning, following his assassination. His transition to the non-physical dimension was seamless, thanks to all the prayers that were said on his behalf!
Many sent forth the same kinds of prayers on 9/11. I watched from the roof of my building and saw many souls leaving their physical bodies at the moment that the second tower fell. “GO TO THE LIGHT! THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR!!” I transmitted these thoughts to them with the deepest love that I could pull from my heart.
One more thing about releasing earthbound souls. Make sure that you're not projecting mixed messages, declaring on the one hand — that it's time for them to leave — while at the same time, feeling very cool for having a dramatic tale to tell your friends regarding your "un-earthy 'guests!" Your intentions to release them to the Light must be consistent, focused, and pure. Otherwise, your thoughts will dissipate into the ethers, unheard and ineffective.
