It's easy to think that we can know what's best for another — or that our own thoughts represent what's absolutely true. Not so.
Most often, our personal agenda, the one we might might like to impose on another, is merely an interpretation of what we think is going on with that other person, a "projection" of our own stuff.
Projection: a psychological defense mechanism where a person subconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, usually to other people. Thus, projection involves imagining or projecting the belief that others originate those feelings.
We all do it. You come home from work and greet your beloved pet — "Uaah, there you are, Snooky! You've had such a hard day!" The point is that we truly can neither know what's going on with another, nor from whenst they've come.
That's why it's important for you to first raise your vibration to the place of your Higher Self in this exercise, before communing with that of another. From that vantage point you'll be less inclined to impose the way you see things, your agenda, onto whomever you might dialog with in this exercise. The ego-self has it's own agenda, and your personal perceptions, beliefs and history create a particular lens though which you view your world — and others.
In this exercise, we'll start with a meditation that will raise your vibration to the level of your Higher Self. Next, I will position you a certain way, enabling you to invite in an assortment of friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers, into a circle.
Through the wonder of Streaming Consciousness, you will receive telepathic communication from the HS of one specific invitee, one who comes forward to be your guest for the evening. (The HS of this person will let you know who they are!)
You'll be amazed at potential for healing, resolution and heart-opening that can result from this exercise.
